Trek Itinerary
Day 1
8.00am: Meet and Depart Pretty Valley Lodge Bogong High Plains Road
9.00am: Arrive Heathy Spur Trail head.
9.15am: Start 2.5 hour ski tour climb to camp site.
12.30pm: Set camp amd Lunch at Edmonson’s Hut.
1.00pm: Tour to Marms Point and no name peak.
3.00 pm: Return to camp and prepare for the evening meal.
Day 2
7.00 am: Rise for a hot Breakfast, coffee and morning Tea.
8.30am: Depart for days touring of No Name peak and the shoulder of Spion Kopje
1.00pm: Lunch atop Nelse North over looking the main range of NSW
1.30: Ski the long runs of Nelse and Nelse North.
3.00pm: Return to Edmonson’s Hut to prepare for the evening dining and a sunset ski tour.
6.00pm: Final ski and evening dinner inside the warmth of the Edmonson’s hut fire.
Day 3
8.00am: Rise for Breakfast and break camp.
9.00am: Ski tour back to Heathy Spur and return to Falls Creek.
12.00pm: Arrive Falls Creek Hotel for Lunch at Falls Creek Motel.
2.30pm: Farewell and return equipment.
Overview
Departing from Pretty Valley lodge to Heathy Spur we ski tour to our camp site destination of Edmonson’s Hut that is hidden amonst spectacular snow gums. On this tour we ski the gentle terrain of no name peak and the steeper terrain of Mt Nelse and Mt Nelse North as an added attraction. All meals, camping and touring equipment is natrually provided. This a great tour for those that have had some overnight experience and ready to stay overnight for an extended period.
